The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFiB) has announced the postponement of the opening of its recruitment portal earlier scheduled to commence on 1st December 2025.
The announcement was made through an official public notice signed by Maj. Gen. A. M. Jibril (Rtd), Secretary to the Board, on Monday, December 1, 2025.
According to the notice, the portal—intended for shortlisted candidates to upload documents and receive physical screening schedules—will now open on a new date to be communicated soon.
The Board urged all shortlisted applicants to regularly visit the official recruitment website, recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng, for fresh updates on the new date for the portal opening.
CDCFiB noted that the postponement is to ensure a smooth and transparent screening process for all candidates.
In the signed statement, the Board apologized for any inconvenience the change may cause, adding that it values the interest and patience of applicants participating in the 2025 recruitment exercise.
