The management of Abakaliki Football announced Thursday, August 7, 2025, as the resumption date for club officials and selected contracted players, in preparation for the upcoming 2025/2026 Nigeria National League (NNL) season.
In a statement signed by the club’s Media Officer, Amb. Chukwuma Ogbonna which was posted on the club’s official Facebook page, names of the team members expected to resume for training and full activities were published.

The club training is scheduled to begin on Monday, August 11, 2025
The management has urged all officials and players to report promptly and fully resume duties as scheduled.
