
Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have arrested seven individuals suspected to be involved in internet-related fraud.
The arrest, which took place on Tuesday in the Lokogoma area of Abuja, followed actionable intelligence linking the suspects to various cybercrime activities.
During the operation, EFCC operatives recovered 13 mobile phones of different brands and one international passport from the suspects.
According to the Commission, the suspects will be charged to court upon the conclusion of investigations.
The EFCC continues to intensify its efforts in combating cybercrime and bringing perpetrators to justice.
