Paul Demilade Adewale, a Junior Secondary School 3 (JSS3) student of FUTA Staff Secondary School, has emerged as the overall winner of the 2025 Mathematical Association of Nigeria (MAN) Olympiad Competition, Ondo State Chapter.
The grand finale, which took place on July 12, 2025, saw Adewale outshine 17 other finalists across five zones in the state to clinch the top position in the Junior Category, earning him the title of the Best Mathematics Student in Ondo State (Junior Category).
His journey to the top began during the preliminary stage held on July 5, 2025, where he competed against 70 students from 32 schools across four local governments within his zone and finished 1st.
With this remarkable achievement, Adewale will now represent Ondo State at the National Olympiad coming up in August 2025.
