The latest update on the Nigerian Navy recruitment confirms that the Navy has released the official shortlist for the 2025 Aptitude Test scheduled to hold nationwide on 29 November 2025.

A total of 59,561 applicants successfully made the shortlist and are expected to participate in the upcoming screening exercise across approved centres nationwide.

Screening Requirements for Batch 38 Applicants

Candidates shortlisted for the Nigerian Navy Batch 38 recruitment exercise must:

  • Print and fill out all required forms, including the Applicant’s Declaration, Parent/Guardian Consent, Local Government Certification, Police Clearance, and Guarantor’s Form.
  • Report to their designated screening venue with:
    • Completed printed forms
    • Original and photocopies of credentials
    • Valid scratch cards for WAEC/NECO verification

The Navy emphasized that only candidates who comply strictly with the documentation and screening requirements will move to the next stage.

Applicants who pass the aptitude test and subsequent screening stages will proceed for basic military training and will be enlisted into the Nigerian Navy as Ordinary Seamen, according to the latest Nigerian Navy Batch 38 update.
