Police have confirmed the arrest of a woman identified as Ihsanatu Shaaibu over a viral video where a minor was physically abused with grievous injury inflicted .
According to a post made on the Nigerian Police’s official Facebook page, E-signed by Force Public Relation Officer, ACP Muyiwa Adejobi, FPRO, the abused minor was identified as Fa’iza Bala who was listed as 5 years old stepdaughter of the suspect. Arrest was made on Thursday 9th January, 2025 while investigation into the incidence have commenced; prosecution to follow immediately investigation is concluded.
The FPRO promised to keep the general public abreast of the proceedings and any other developments with regards to the case.
