The 2025 CDCFIB Recruitment ie Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board has officially announced the commencement of recruitment into four major paramilitary agencies in Nigeria. The recruitment portal is now open for qualified candidates who wish to join the:
- Nigerian Correctional Service
- Nigeria Immigration Service
- Federal Fire Service
- Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC)

Available Categories and Positions for the 2025 CDCFIB Recruitment
CATEGORY A: General Duty (Superintendent Cadre)
1. Superintendent of Corrections (CONMESS 02)
- Requirements: MBBS degree, NYSC discharge certificate, valid license from MDCN.
- Agency: Nigerian Correctional Service.
2. Assistant Superintendent I (CONPASS 09)
- Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant fields (e.g., Law, Humanities, Social Sciences).
- Agencies: Nigerian Correctional Service, Federal Fire Service.
3. Assistant Superintendent II (CONPASS 08)
- Requirements: HND or Bachelor’s Degree.
- Agencies: Immigration Service, Civil Defence, Correctional, and Fire Services.
CATEGORY B: Inspectorate Cadre
1. Inspector of Corrections (CONPASS 07)
- Requirements: Registered Nurses or Midwives from accredited institutions.
- Agency: Nigerian Correctional Service.
2. Assistant Inspector of Corrections (CONPASS 06)
- Requirements: National Diploma (ND) in relevant fields.
- Agency: Nigerian Correctional Service.
CATEGORY C: Assistant Cadre
1. Correctional Assistant I & II (CONPASS 05 & 04)
- Requirements: WAEC/NECO/GCE or Trade Test certificates.
- Agency: Nigerian Correctional Service.
2. Fire Assistant I & II (CONPASS 04 & 03)
- Requirements: SSCE, Trade Test, or equivalent.
- Agency: Federal Fire Service.
3. Immigration Assistant III, Civil Defence Assistant, Fire Assistant III (CONPASS 03)
- Requirements: Minimum of GCE/WAEC/NECO with 3-5 credits.
- Agencies: Civil Defence, Immigration, Fire Services.
Method of Application
All applications must be completed online. Follow the steps below:

- Select your preferred service and position.
- Complete the online form and upload required documents.
- Submit and print out your application slip.
Note: Only one application is allowed per candidate. Multiple applications will lead to disqualification.
General Requirements
- Must be a Nigerian citizen by birth.
- Must be between 18 and 35 years.
- Height: Minimum 1.65m for males and 1.60m for females.
- Chest Measurement: Minimum of 0.87m for males.
- Must be physically and mentally fit.
- No financial embarrassment or criminal record.
- Must present all necessary academic certificates (no statement of results).
Application Deadline
- Application closes four (4) weeks from the date of publication.
- Late or incomplete submissions will not be considered.
