Renowned Nigerian preacher and founder of the Zion Prayer Movement Outreach, Evangelist Chukwuebuka Anozie Obi, has embarked on a spiritual pilgrimage to key biblical sites in the Middle East, as part of the ongoing 100 Days Fasting and Prayers organized by his ministry.
The globally followed evangelist, whose headquarters is located in Okota, Lagos, and with branches across the South-East region of Nigeria, visited the River Jordan; the historic site where Jesus Christ was baptized by John the Baptist to offer prayers and spiritual sacrifices on behalf of his millions of followers.
Also on his pilgrimage trail was Mount Nebo, the mountain from which Moses viewed the Promised Land before his death, and the biblical location traditionally believed to be where Prophet Elijah was taken up into heaven in a chariot of fire.
These visits, according to the ministry, are symbolic acts of faith meant to “reconnect the body of Christ to its spiritual heritage” and to usher in divine encounters during this intense season of fasting and prayer.
Evangelist Chukwuebuka, known for his prophetic grace, healing miracles, and spirit-filled crusades, has seen Zion Prayer Movement grow into one of the most followed religious movements in Nigeria, with millions of worshippers tuning in weekly for his live broadcasts, prayer sessions, and testimonies of breakthrough.
